Bio

I’m queer, liminally gendered, and past being old enough to have the answers to ‘Life, The Universe and Everything’

I’m an artist, a researcher and an academic, and I’ve been playing and living Leather for over 20 years.

I have a complicated history with spirituality, and have experienced fundamentalist christianity, radical atheism, and after a few minor strokes have settled into Maausk, a kind of animist paganism which fits me well if at times uneasily, and meshes with Leather and with managing PTSD and chronic illness.

Right now I live in afarmhouse in the mountains of Oregon whil pursuing a PhD in WGSS. Previously, I lived in a 108 year old house in Northern Ontario with my dog and spent a lot of time doing art and looking at Lake Superior.

I live with chronic pain and CPTSD, and do my best to mitigate the effects of both through meditation, loud bass, exercise and eating natural food. The dog helps.
